The Gundam games have been critical and commercial failures in the past, but this version boasts new improvements including “Partner Strike”, which enables players to summon partner characters to the battlefield to help them, and “Emergency Dash”, which allows players to execute new “cancel” and “evasion” moves thus negating an enemy’s attack, and “Recovery Gauge Systems”, which enables players to restore their armor during the battle.
The game will also have online co-operative play for the first time in the series, for up to four players.
