Harmonix has announced that players will be able to port all of their Dance Central songs into Dance Central 2, for a minor 400 Microsoft Point fee, just as Rock Band did. Downloadable content will import for free.
Microsoft announced this on the company twitter account earlier today. In addition to the 400 MSP, players will also need a copy of the first game in order to import the songs as well as 200-250MB of free space on the hard drive, and an Internet-connected system. As with Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3, players will be asked to input a code from the back of the manual.
Players who pre-order Dance Central 2 will get a bonus 400 Microsoft Points, which will cover the cost of importing should they decide to.
