In the same October 2011 Official Xbox Magazine rumor section that stated Fable IV would purportedly be coming to the Xbox 360 in 2013, also suggests that Gearbox will be rebooting Duke Nukem after development of Aliens: Colonial Marines is wrapped.
Duke Nukem Forever was a financial success but critically panned. Despite this, 2K Games promised that Forever would not be the last time Duke Nukem would be seen.
