The first localized Wizardry game by Atlus in a decade will be hitting PlayStation Network this Spring, as Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls will make its debut for Western audiences in North America and Europe.
“Having the opportunity to work with Acquire to bring over Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is truly an exciting one for us. We’ve long admired the Wizardry series as a pioneer of the RPG genre, so with our upcoming release players will be able to experience a defining moment in gaming history,” said Jun Iwasaki, President of Xseed Games, which acquired the right to publish it in North America and Europe.
Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land was a spin-off published by Atlus of the classic Sir-Tech roleplaying game series, and was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2001.
