Dead Rising 2: Off the Record detailed for PC

Capcom has announced some specific details for the PC version of their upcoming zombie masher game, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, which will bring portly, sarcastic photographer Frank West back as the main protagonist.

First off, the PC version will be coming out on October 11 both in retail and on most major digital distributors including directly from Capcom, Windows Marketplace, Direct2Drive, GamersGate, GamesPlanet and GameTap; Steam is conspicuously absent. Preorders will enjoy a 10% off bonus, while buying the retail version directly from Capcom will grant the gamer a free “Uranus Zone” t-shirt.

The game, like Dead Rising 2, will be Live for Windows, which means it’ll require online activation. On the other hand, it’ll also have Achievements for the gamer’s Xbox Live account.
