Autumn Moon Entertainment’s Bill Tiller has told Germen gaming site The Gamers Base that development of their adventure game A Vampyre Story 2: A Bat’s Tale is currently on hold due to a lack of funds, and if no investors can be found by publisher Crimson Cow, the game will be cancelled.
The strange part of Tiller’s claim is that last year, the developer stated that 40% of the game had been finished, but in his statement to The Gamers Base, the game is only 30% complete. Either the game regressed in the last year, or Tiller overstated the game’s progress at the time.
The original A Vampyre Story received a 7.4/10 review from Strategy Informer, which praised the game’s art style but added that the gameplay was fairly standard.
