Sonic’s yellow-furred, double-tailed flying sidekick, Tails, will be playable in the oft-delayed Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 4, which will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in 2012.
Tails’ inclusion is due to gamer feedback, according to Sega Digital brand manager Ken Balough in a GameSpot Asia interview.
Balough also revealed that Episode 2 will feature both a new graphics engine and a new physics engine, and to expect “massive changes” as a result of the fan feedback.
