PS3 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gets Elite content August 16th

Infinity Ward has revealed that August 16th is the date for PS3 gamers to receive their Elite premium content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It adds two new multiplayer maps.

It will also include the Spec Ops mission ‘Vertigo’, which is set on the rooftop of the Oasis hotel in Dubai. Those who don’t subscribe to the Elite service will have to wait longer.

A graveyard of rusting ships and a windy oil rig await in new maps ‘Decommissioned’ and ‘Offshore’, respectively. No date for non-Elite Call of Duty fans yet. Multiplayer map Terminal hits PC 17th for free.
