The iOS title Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery is now bound for the PC announces developer Capybara Games, based in Toronto. They’re the guys who put together Critter Crunch.
It’ll come to PC via Steam ”very soon” and delight Mac gamers ”before the summer solstice”. The studio promise it to be a ”faithful recreation” with only minor tweaks for the mouse.
Critter Crunch hit the App Store in ‘07 and PlayStation Network in ‘09, while puzzle/RPG Clash of Heroes: Might & Magic hit NDS in ‘09, then PC, XBLA and PSN in 2011.
”It is our sincere hope that this new edition of the project will connect with a broad audience, people who have access to a computer and who have a fondness for musically-inclined computer-enabled stories of myth & mystery,” said Capybara Games. The game on iOS makes use of the orientation feature during play.
