Developer Outpost Studios has released a beta of their motion sensing ski racing game SkiRanger to the public. The game represents the first publicly announced game released on PC intended for use with Kinect and other motion sensing hardware such as the Asus XtionPRO.
SkiRanger is described as a party game in which players are given certain challenges as their park ranger skis at breakneck speeds down mountainsides. For example, one mission has the player dodging snowballs on their trip down the slope.
The game is compatible with both the Asus XtionPRO and Microsoft Kinect, provided the gamer finds the drivers to run both devices on the PC.
SkiRanger has no set release date yet.
