Telltale Games isn’t the only company making a game based on the popular The Walking Dead IP, as Activision has announced a new first person shooter based on the television show; Telltale Games’ game is based on the comic book.
The Walking Dead first person shooter is being developed by Terminal Reality, focusing on a pair of brothers named Daryl and Merle Dixon. According to the press brief, ”No place is truly safe for Daryl as he makes his way through the Georgia countryside in this new, post-apocalyptic world,” as the game will be a ”haunting, unforgiving quest to make their way to the supposed safety of Atlanta.”
The Walking Dead will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in 2013.
