Microsoft has announced that the free-to-play flight sim Microsoft Flight will be landing on the 29th February.
As revealed back in early January, the game will be available as a free download, which will include the main island of Hawaii and the ICON A5, along with a new real-life monoplane that has just gone into production for 2012. Players who sign in through Games for Windows Live will also get some more free content, including the Boeing Stearman, additional missions, achievements, and daily flight challenges.
The game will be supported by premium DLC that will allow players to tailor their experience to the types of regions and aircraft they want to fly.
The publisher also released a new “webisode” - this one details how the aircraft have been modeled as realistically as possible.
