The founding of the developer Fullbright Company was announced back on the 1st May, and the new company has announced its first game, a mystery adventure game called Gone Home.
The game focuses on exploring a typical home, where the player will uncover what happened there by dealing with a ”deeply interactive game world.”
Gone Home relies on making as immersive and realistic an experience as possible.
“We’re really interested in pushing toward simulation, both in the sense of the physics system but also in allowing the player to open any door or drawer they’d logically be able to and examine what’s inside, down to small details,” stated founder Steve Gaynor, ”If we do it right, these interactive and simulation elements will work together to make you that much more invested in discovering the story woven into the environment.”
The game will be developed on PC with a mouse and keyboard as its default control, and the game will not be a Kickstarter project.
