Capcom has announced that players can engage in an asynchronous multiplatform multiplayer campaign in Dragon’s Dogma against what the publisher calls the “Ur-Dragon”.
Players will attack the creature from Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, each taking their cuts against the monstrous beast. The team that lands the killing blow will get the maximum special reward. However, all players engaging in the combat will get some common and rare items as well. Those who helped kill the Ur-Dragon will have their names commemorated as well.
The Ur-Dragon can be attacked in single player offline play as well, but the rewards will be lesser items.
The challenge will be available when Dragon’s Dogma launches on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on the 22nd May.
