They’ve stamped March 1st as their placeholder, while Littlewoods scoffs and points to May 31st. Retailer Zavvi meanwhile continues to clutch to their fever dreams of this November 23rd.
It seems incredibly unlikely that Rockstar would be releasing GTA 5 this year at all given the near total lack of any marketing campaign. Usually Take-Two blitzes us good.
Traditionally GTA launches have been around this time of year but the trend is now being thoroughly bucked by developer Rockstar. Hopefully we won’t need to painfully wait until fall in 2013. Currently there are no confirmed platforms for Grand Theft Auto 5 except that an Xbox 360 and PS3 release are expected, with PC probably afterward.
The latest noise on the PR front has been Rockstar releasing some screenshots but that’s it.
