The strategy revival of XCOM with Enemy Unknown from Civilization developer Firaxis will be arriving before the upcoming shooter, as it gets delayed into next year, reports Game Informer.
Fans will likely give a cheer that at least the more ‘faithful’ return of XCOM will still be gracing us. Enemy Unknown keeps the tactical turn-based play that made the PC series.
If anyone knows turn-based gameplay it’s definitely Firaxis and Sid Meier. 2K Games had already delayed the XCOM shooter from March until next fiscal year (April - March 2013).
