Sega’s Mike Kebby detailed on the PlayStation Blog some of the new combo moves that gamers playing Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 will be implemented. Of course, one player takes control of Sonic, and the other his two-tailed sidekick Tails.
The first combo is the classic Copter Combo in which Tails picks up Sonic and flies him around the level like a helicopter to reach unattainable platforms.
The next, new combo is the Submarine Combo in which Tails can pick up Sonic and take him underwater like a submarine. Which the duo still need to breathe air bubbles, the duo can spend more like underwater.
Finally, the powerful new Rolling Combo has Sonic and Tails combining to create a giant spin dash that can easily take down large opponents, knock down large objects and plow straight through snowdrifts.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 will be released on the 15th May on PlayStation Network, the 16th May on Xbox Live Arcade, and later in the year for PC.
