Tim Schafer’s studio Double Fine Productions continues to get love from the gaming public, as the donation drive for their Double Fine Adventure project has passed the $2M mark.
The donations will cover both the development of the game, as well as a documentary covering the creative process. Originally intended to only raise $400,000, Schafer has stated that the extra funds will cover multiple platforms for the game and hiring voice-over talent, as well as increase the quality of the documentary.
The donation drive is far from over - it’ll be interesting to see how much the game raises by the end date of 13th March, which is 22 days away.
