Last week, an analysis from the film of RW Baird stated that the PlayStation 3 needed a price cut to remain relevant. GameStop has taken that advice to heart and started their own price cut.
As advertised, GameStop now has a $50 price cut on the 160GB version of the PlayStation 3. The system, normally priced at $249.99, now is listed for $199.99.
No other retailers have slashed the price - it’ll be interesting to see if they follow suit.
