You can’t stop Minecraft - you can’t even hope to contain it, as the phenomenon that opened PC gamers’ eyes is dominating Xbox Live Arcade as well.
Markus “Notch” Persson tweeted earlier, ”I got told Minecraft for XBLA passed three million sales today!”
Minecraft shattered sales records during its launch as well. Not to be outdone, a few weeks ago, it was announced that the PC version had enjoyed over 6M sales since its launch in November 2011.
Minecraft was released back in 9th May on Xbox Live Arcade, and earned universally positive reviews, including an 8.0/10 score from Strategy Informer’s review.
