ProjectorGames has announced that the 9th update to their runaway hit Xbox Live Indie Games title FortressCraft is now available, and adds zombies, as well as defensive weaponry to keep the zombie horde away, including sawblades and turrets.
In addition, gamers who purchased Steam Heroes will also receive the Harrison Axe, to go along with the fan designed Neoteric Axe, whichallows the player to edit their spawn tower. The game also includes the Spleef Arena, which was first introduced in Minecraft, in which players armed with a “spleef gun” shoot out the canvas underneath other players, and if a player stands on a block that isn’t canvas, they are out of the match til it is concludes.
Other features in Update 9 include an “Underground” level type, new light models with which to brighten the player’s world, as well as weapons and stats screens.
The update also includes an unofficial 31-player multiplayer which will be opened to the public in a few weeks.
