PlayStation 3 owners have been having freeze issues with NBA 2K12, where the game will freeze upon launch when the game would attempt to load saved settings. The only workaround was deleting game files, and it wasn’t effective for all users.
An update has been released for the game that fixes the problem. Fortunately, the feedback seems to indicate that the patch is effective.
NBA 2K12 was released last October on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
