Namco-Bandai has announced that its topsy-turvy third person shooter Inversion won’t be making its 7th February release date. The nebulous release window for the game is now “early 2012”, as the publisher states that developer Saber Interactive requires ”additional development time” to “polish several key aspects of the game ensuring Inversion is of the highest quality.”
The game has had a long, tortuous development cycle, with it slipping far past its original planned release date of 2010.
Inversion is a game in which players can manipulate gravity, causing some interesting situations and scenarios. Check out this developer diary for a sampling of what is possible.
