Digital Extremes has announced their latest project, Warframe, which is a free-to-play, co-op shooter. The developer, whose last game was The Darkness II, will be running a closed beta in Fall 2012, with a target release of Winter 2012.
The developer released a teaser trailer for the game, stating, ”Digital Extremes debuts the free-to-play, third-person shooter WARFRAME, with a stopped-in-mid-action diorama. This first video highlights everything we love about WARFRAME – Space, Shooting, Swords & Suits! Reserve your Alias today for the Closed Beta coming this fall. “
