Some uncovered files in the recent 1.5.26 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim patch seem to hint at what the next downloadable content pack Bethesda has planned for the open world RPG, and it points towards a Snow Elf Prince.
Those gamers who are well-versed in the lore of The Elder Scrolls know the snow elves were a race of elves that inhabited Skyrim but were driven out by the Nords.
One of the books in Skyrim, in fact, makes reference to a “Snow Prince Elf”. The passage reads, ”A Nord warrior sees much in a life of bloodshed and battle, and is rarely surprised by anything armed combat may bring. But few among us that day could have imagined the awe and uncertainty of a raging battlefield that all at once went motionless and silent. Such is the effect the Snow Prince had on us all. The glorious Snow Prince, an Elf unlike any other, did come that day to bring death to our kind. And death he so brought. May our gods honor him in death, and may we never meet his kind again in life.”
The files also refer to crossbows, which hint that some new weaponry will be introduced, too.
