Merge Games has announced that Edward McMullen’s bizarre action-RPG The Binding of Isaac will be getting a retail release, in the form of a Special Edition.
The retail Special Edition version will be called the “The Unholy Edition,” and include a DRM free version of the game, a free Steam gifting key, the soundtrack, a poster and 40 page “Devzine.”
The Binding of Isaac will hit stores on the 16th March. It is currently available on Steam, and a $3 “mega-expansion” The Wrath of the Lamb is in development.
Merge Games is giving another indie hit, Terraria, the same retail release treatment.
