Scientists at Austin University of Texas have created artificial intelligence that fooled a panel of judged into thinking it was human.
The winners of 2K’s Botprize, which tasked competitors to create the most human-like A.I, came from computer intelligence created for Unreal Tournament 2004. UT^2 and Mirrorbot were crowned victors.Both winners split the $7000 prize after battling it out on a half-human/half-A.I game of UT. Each player had to take the opposition as either human or robot. The bots that were tagged human most often were the winners.
