After two years of delays, Fez, which was first introduced by indie developer Phil Fish in 2009, will finally arrive on Xbox Live Arcade on the 13th April.
Fez is a 2D platform title in which the player can rotate the levels in 3D to create new perspectives and platforms. The game is reminiscient of such titles as Crush and Paper Mario.
In February, Fez won the Seumas McNally Grand Prize award at the 2012 Independent Games Festival, but Fish caused a minor stir at Game Developers Conference earlier in March when he stated, ”Most modern Japanese games are terrible.”
