A live action Halo web series will launch ahead of Halo 4’s release this year.
Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn will play exclusively on Machinima and Microsoft’s Halo Waypoint in the lead up to the 6th November launch of the 343 Industries-developed sci-fi shooter.
According to reports, the series is going to cost more than the impressive Neil Blomkamp short movies. The series will take place across 5 weekly installments, all around 15 minutes each, and will tell the story of a young UNSC cadet who is inspired by Master Chief.
According to Halo franchise boss Frank O’Connor, the web series is a ”way for people to get onboard this universe without feeling intimidated”.
Meanwhile, the prospect of a full Halo movie couldn’t be further away.
