Scrolling shooter developer Cave has announced that they will be bringing the Japanese hit game Mushihime-sama to the Xbox 360.
As one might expect, the game will be remastered with HD visuals and widescreen support, but no other features have been announced yet. Cave did hint that there would be some sort of bonus content, however.
Mushihime-sama, originally released on the PlayStation 2 in 2005, is a prime example of the “bullet hell” subgenre of scrolling shooters, in which the screen becomes so cluttered with enemy projectiles, they nearly obscure the entire screen. Ikaruga is another such example of the “bullet hell” shooter.
