Cave Story has received an age-rating on the ESRB site.
It’s looking likely the indie hit will head to consoles and PS Vita on the back of its success, as listed in the official statement:”This is an action adventure game in which players assume the role of a tiny boy who traverses through caverns to save rabbit-like creatures called ‘Mimigas.’ Players run and jump across platforms, avoid hazards and obstacles, and shoot at ‘cartoony’ creatures (e.g., giant mushrooms, square elephants, bats) along the way. Enemy creatures disappear in a puff of smoke when defeated. Dialogue contains some aggressive language (e.g., ‘Now kill me! Or I-shall kill You!’ and ‘Please kill my master.’) and a derogatory remark (e.g., ‘Dr. Dumb can go screw himself.’).”
No official announcement just yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
