South Park: The Stick of Truth remains in 2013 calendar, affirms Ubisoft

Ubisoft acquired Obsidian Entertainment’s South Park: The Stick of Truth from the THQ collapse, paying $3.2m for the privilege. It has been notably absent from the publisher’s scheduled release line-ups.

However Ubisoft has confirmed that South Park: The Stick of Truth will be launching this year, although they have no concrete date to offer. Originally it had been due to release later this month.

Supermarket Tesco has South Park: The Stick of Truth dated for August 23rd, which would put it near Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, as well as other big name releases.

South Park: The Stick of Truth releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
