A group of South African developers are currently developing a new futuristic point-and-click adventure game, The Maker’s Eden and are crowdfunding it on Indiegogo. The game is using flexible funding, which means that it doesn’t need to make its goal to receive the donations.
The devs are looking to raise $10K, and have raised $2K so far.
According to the developers, “The game world is rich with history and socio-political commentary with clues to the past and present scattered around for you to find. The genre’s a mix of noir crime-drama in a futuristic world, with the story playing out against a backdrop of soulful jazz and hand-painted graphics. We don’t want to throw around too many ‘buzz-words’, but we’re going for moody, atmospheric and engaging.”
