One of the biggest concerns is the battery drain on the controller with the features included on it, including the light bar which not only is used in conjunction with the PlayStation Camera (which was dropped as a PS4 bundle item to lower the price of the system), but will light up and change colors during play.
Yoshida flatly stated that players won’t be able to turn it off.
Oddly, the 2 USB ports on the controller are on the front instead of the back to “easily charge” the controller while playing, which may hint at the speed of how quickly the controller will run out of power on its own.
The PlayStation 4 is due for a November 2013 launch.
