Daedalic Entertainment has released the early beta version of turn-based strategy and dark RPG Blackguards on Steam Early Access, with the game priced at £18. Over 40 hours of gameplay featured.
180 unique battle maps make up those hours of gameplay, with up to five characters in our party able to use 40 special abilities and over 90 spells. They’re proud of their ”intense, gritty story.”
”The team is incredibly proud, since now we can present the fruit of two and a half years of intensive hard work,” said Daedalic Entertainment, known for their adventure titles.
”We’ve created a game we really like ourselves and want to play: a turn-based strategy game with many RPG elements and an intense, gritty story.” As it is an Early Access version of Blackguards the developers want all the feedback possible ready for the game’s full launch later in January 2014.
