Creative Assembly has announced that players who purchase Total War: Rome II will get free beta access to their 10 on 10 multiplayer strategy game Total War: Arena. In addition, Total War: Rome II owners will have access to ”exclusive in-game Legion Armory bonuses” and $15 worth of in-game currency for Arena.
The gamers will also have “Legion” status in Arena; “Legion” benefits are not known yet, though.
Total War: Arena is a free-to-play massively multiplayer version of the Total War games, with 10 players taking on 10 others. Some initially thought it would be a MOBA, but the game is, according to Creative Assembly, more of an MMO, and has no resemblance to MOBAs.
