After extreme animal rights group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) decried the depiction of whaling in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, the group has sent out pamphlets on behalf of the Zerg. The pamphlet proclaims ”Zerglings Have Feelings, Too.”
Protoss on Zerg violence. No Terrans in sight.”To paraphrase a great philosopher, the question is not ‘Can Zerg reason?’ nor ‘Can they talk?’ but ‘Can they suffer when attacked with a Perdition flamethrower,’” states director of marketing Joel Bartlett, ”PETA is full of StarCraft players, but we’ve always had empathy for the Zerg — and for anyone who is killed without consideration because they don’t speak our language.”
Peta went on to claim the Zerg are ”killed or abused simply because the Terrans can’t or won’t understand them.”
What about the Protoss and their attitudes towards the Zerg?
