A report from PCGamesHardware, a German language PC gaming site, has revealed that Crytek’s Crysis 3 had flopped badly in Germany, which is also the developer’s base of operations, selling a mere 100K units.
Crysis 3 boasted amazing graphics with the CryEngine 3 engine, but the game received middling reviews, including Strategy Informer’s 6.0/10 score its its review, which stated, that the ”main plotline is dull, absurd, and more than a little predictable”, along with a ”terrible checkpointing system” and a buggy launch.
The game was released back in February this year for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
