Dennis Dyack’s studio Precursor Games has announced that it will put Shadow of the Eternals back on Kickstarter, despite the trials the studio has been going through, not the least of which found one of its founders in disturbing legal trouble.
According to the developer on its site, ”Numerous suggestions about the first campaign were given to us by our community–and we listened. At this point we are not ready to talk about what has changed, but it is safe to say that it is a great deal. We look forward to discussing these changes more in the near future.”
Shadow of the Eternals is the spiritual successor to the GameCube classic Eternal Darkness, which was developed by Dyack’s former studio Silicon Knights. The new game will be released on PC and Wii in episodic form sometime in 2014.
