Void Star Creations has announced that the studio reached the $7.5K Kickstarter goal for Poker Smash with 24 hours to spare. With about $1000 left to raise in the last few days, they decided to go with the most reliable source of help - friends and family.
Gamers, backers or no, can try an early alpha PC port of the critically lauded Xbox Live Arcade game here. The demo lacks some of the features the full game will have, but gives an idea of the title’s basic addictive poker-meets-Tetris Smash gameplay.
Poker Smash is expected to have a June 2013 release date. The original game was released on XBLA on the 6th February 2008.
