Pixar Artists who worked on such films as Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Finding Nemo have founded their own studio, Steel Wool Games. The artists include Sequoia Blankenship, Joshua Qualtieri, Jonathan Hoffman, Andrew Lee Dayton, and Jason Peter Topolski, along with nine other employees.
The first project is a game called Flyhunter, which will be released this Summer. No platforms have been announced for it, but the developer states it will be multiplatform.
Co-founder Dayton states that the studio will work on “grimsical” games ”that are funny and whimsical but dipped in gritty tones.”
