Sky Pirates of Tyria hitting Guild Wars 2 on the 25th June

ArenaNet has announced that the next major update for Guild Wars 2, Sky Pirates of Tyria, will be released on the 25th June. The update will feature a new dungeon and events, rewards, a big balance update, and additional features.

The dungeon will be called Aetherblade Retreat, where players will fight sky pirates, with the Captain and First Mate as the level bosses. The Sea of Sorrows Scavenger Hunt will have players searching for 12 plaques. Finally, the update adds new rewards from the Aetherblade pirates, and First Mate Horrik mini-companion.

Also included in the update are class and skill tweaks, along with Custom Arenas and Spectator Mode, which had debuted on the beta servers. Mortar Mastery training will also be added.
