Kalypso has announced that the Gold edition of Airline Tycoon 2 will be landing in retail on the 22nd February. The gold edition will feature the original game and the two downloadable content packs.
For the uninitiated, Airline Tycoon 2 allows the player to run an airline, crafting new planes with the in-game editor. Gamers will be able to choose between cargo, mass transportation flights or luxury jets, while testing their management skills as they must schedule flight plans and coordinate arrivals and departures - all while balancing the books.
Airline Tycoon 2 was originally released back in October 2011, and earned a 7.0/10 score from Strategy Informer’s review.
