The original creator of Leisure Suit Larry, Al Lowe, has been toiling away to bring ”video gaming’s king of innuendo” back onto desktops in the 21st century. Original writer Josh Mandel has also been on task.
Reloaded is a ”re-made, expanded and enhanced” edition of the very first Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, which was released 26 years ago.
The 1987 original has had all its intimate bits fondled by the development team to bring us ”expanded puzzles, locations, humour and gameplay.” It arrives on PC, Mac and Linux.
”Behind all-new hi-res, hand-drawn art and animation replacing the blocky pixelated graphics of the 1987 original, come expanded puzzles, locations, humour and gameplay. And rounding off the package (no pun intended!) is a re-written musical score from Grammy-nominated and BAFTA-winning composer Austin Wintory featuring Al Lowe on saxophone!”
Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded releases this June priced at £14.99.
