It seems that a new PlayStation 3 will be coming this Holiday season, but it won’t be a case redesign. Instead, the processors will be getting an upgrade.
The new PS3 is allegedly to be called the CECH-4205 model; the current PS3 Super Slim is the CECH-4000. The PS3 Slim had launched as a CECH-2000, and models with larger hard drives were called CECH-2100 and CECH-2500.
Does this mean the new PS3 Super Slim will have a larger hard drive, or will it have another hardware change? Stay tuned.
