Online browser title Warface from Crytek is officially launched in Europe and North America, using the studio’s new social platform GFACE. It’s a free-to-play first-person shooter powered by CryEngine 3.
It’s a ”constantly updated” universe that Crytek has in mind with Warface, with class-based FPS PvP and co-op missions. Crytek want to prove F2P can be ”top quality, blockbuster experiences”.
Currently Warface is localised in English, French, German and Turkish - not counting the game’s earlier launch in Russia and China of course.
