The premiere IP of Atari’s stable is Rollercoaster Tycoon, which is expected to fetch a tidy 3.5M GBP. Hardcore real-time strategy gamers will also note Total Annihilation is another property up for auction - but its value is a mere $250K.
Finally, the dormant Test Drive racing simulation series is expected to pick up $1.5M; the last game released under the IP was 2012’s Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends.
It is also interesting to note that the Master of Magic and Master of Orion licenses are still owned by Atari, but the company said it wished to sell ”some of its assets” outside of the auction process, on the grounds of their ”minor value.”
Stay tuned.
