Atari’s real-time tactics franchise Desperados and action-RPG Silver is now in the hands of Nordic Games following an ”asset purchase agreement” signed, sealed and delivered between the two parties.
Nordic is asking fans of the two IPs to pester them on how they should be handled moving forward. Desperados released in 2001 and ‘06, whereas Silver hit in 1999 on PC and Dreamcast.
Atari has ceased to function as a viable games developer and has been looking to sell off its IP catalogue to any interested parties. We can now cross two more off the list.
