Apparently The Sims have discovered time-travel, so make sure your Sims work some overtime to afford that jetpacked, hoverboarding lifestyle you’ve been dreaming off for them.
We’re warned that certain actions in the past will alter the future Sims descendants, who we can visit hundreds of years into the future. It releases on PC October 22nd.

EA recently unveiled the The Sims 3: Movie Stuff which adds a bunch of - you guessed it - movie related furniture, costumes and props; it’s the 9th Stuff pack. Next year EA will be launching The Sims 4, and the cycle begins again.
