Sucker Punch has announced the second power the protagonist of Infamous: Second Son will be able to wield after Smoke - it’s Neon.
According to creative director Nate Fox, ”When you’re playing as a neon powered hero, it’s not like playing like a smoke guy. The smoke powers are all about speed and getting in and out quickly, whaling on guys, and zipping up the sides of buildings. But as a neon player, the tempo is different.”
Fox declined to reveal what Neon powers would exactly do, save make the player glow purple, but it seems with smoke and neon light, Infamous: Second Son is trying to get a sort of 1950’s Broadway theme going.
Infamous: Second Son will be released in February 2014 for the PlayStation 4.
